All artwork from this post began life as a doodle from various sketchbooks.
An ancient deep one, before they used human DNA to reproduce I figured they would look sport some plated armor like other boney plated fish of pre-history.
Along with the rest of the sketches of this post, the Deep one began life as a page in my sketchbook. I used aspects of Dunkleosteus, coelacanth and bioluminescent fish for the design.
